This is a really interesting song, to me at least. It's one of the first times I'm not writing from past or current experiences, rather trying to look into the future and saying "Yeah, I'll be alright". Kind of like using positive affirmation, I'm saying that I'll be alright because I will be.
I also wanted to use this as a closer because it's more of a positive outlook on everything. Sure it's scary now, but I'll be alright. We all will be.
lyrics
Darling, I will be alright
I'll be alive, I'll be alright
Oh no no, I'll do it baby
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) I'll be alright (Yeah)
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) I'll be alive, I'll be alright (Yeah)
Oh no no, I'll do this baby
Darling, I will be alright
I'll be alive, I'll be alright
Oh no no, I'll do it baby
I ain't lookin' forward
I ain't lookin' back
Ain't lookin' back, babe.
I see nothing, nothing
I'll see nothing, nothing
I see nothing.
Yves Tumor is so dang talented and discovering their "Safe in The Hands of Love" was one of the best things that happened to me in the last few years. Possums At Twilight
A staple of downtempo music, Boards of Canada are one of the artists that continue to inspire me and my sound. Absolutely beautiful and deep messaging in their sounds. Possums At Twilight
